Casa Mourisca is considered an “AL – Alojamento Local”, duly registered with the RNAL and it complies with its rules and legal obligations.
Rental fee
The house is fully equipped to ensure a stay with all the comfort and convenience. The rental fee includes the use of Wi-Fi, water, gas and electricity, cable TV, weekly change of towels and bed linen, using cot and high chair and final cleaning of the house.
The minimum booking period is seven nights.
The house can be rented in two configurations: in its entirety, for a maximum occupancy of up to 10 people, or without the ground floor apartment, for an occupancy of up to 6 people.
The prices change according to the season and according to the number of guests. Up to 6 guests the price there is certain price, above 6 guests there will be an additional fee per each person more, per week.
Discounted wintering rates exclude weekly cleaning. Interim cleaning can be arranged on request at a surcharge.
With the booking confirmation, future guests receive a document with the basic house rules.
Security deposit
Guests are kindly requested to pay the security deposit of € 300, –. If no damage has been caused during the stay, this security deposit will be returned to your bank account within 7 days of your departure. In case of damage, part of the security deposit is withheld or additional payment of damage is requested.
Payment
At the time of booking a 50% down payment is required. The remaining amount must be paid, together with the security deposit, 4 weeks before arrival in Portugal.
The reservation is fully confirmed once we have received your down payment of 50%.
Arrival and departure
On the day of arrival you can enter the villa from 5 PM and you must vacate the villa by 10 AM on your departure day. This will enable us to clean and duly prepare the villa before arrival of the next guests.
Liability
The owners of Casa Mourisca, and the people supporting the activity of Casa Mourisca, do not accept any liability or responsibility for the consequences of possible accidents, theft, and the like during your stay at the house, and in particular in and around the house, Casa Mourisca, caused by whatever circumstances.
Cancellation
After you have notified us of your (planned) cancellation, we will immediately open our calendars to try to find other guests who want to come in your place.
In case we can rent out the full period to other guests, we will refund you the sum of your (down) payment. If we were able to partly rent out the period, we will refund you the amount related to how many days were booked by the new guests.
For both cases costs will apply, for example if we need to pay commission to a booking platform.
We will always return the security deposit, if this was already paid.
In all circumstances we strongly recommend you to take out a travel insurance which includes cancellation cover.
Other
By booking and subsequent (down) payment of the rent you agree with the short term rental conditions of Casa Mourisca.
